Job Summary:
Chastain & Associates, LLC (Chastain) has an exciting opportunity for a Professional Land Surveyor working with public or private infrastructure projects in our Decatur, IL office. Qualified candidates will work in a collaborative environment with our team and alongside clients from private to municipal, state, and federal jurisdictions. 


Job Qualifications:
  • Experience in Land Surveying.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team (both in person and remote).

 Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide ALTA, Boundary and Topographic Surveys, Construction Layout, Platting, and related surveying services.
  • Utilizing the latest Autodesk software and Trimble technology. 
  • Managing surveying budgets and schedules
  • Providing budgets and cost estimates for new jobs
  • Engaging and communicating with clients throughout projects while delivering a quality product.
