Position Summary: Driver

The Delivery Driver will provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries. Performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Load truck accurately and safely for deliveries.
  • Unload truck as needed at customer and/or branch locations.
  • Drive company vehicle to make deliveries and pick-ups, obey traffic laws and safety procedures.
  • Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner. Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.
  • Ensure that shipping/receiving is completed on a timely basis, warehouse organization and cleanliness is maintained, and that warehouse contents are protected from theft and damage.
  • Ensure field efficiency via proper scheduling of deliveries, communication and coordination.
  • Know location of merchandise in warehouse. Keep materials organized and put away.
  • Maintain truck cleanliness.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

  • Licensed and insured driver with a current, valid driver's license.
  • Able to interpret maps and navigate cities.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Maintains professional work appearance.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and desire to be a contributing member of the team.
  • Able to follow-up and follow-through independently.
  • Show responsibility and dependability.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via email, phone, text to varied audiences.
  • A self-starter and a team player.
  • A fast learner.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail.
  • Report his/her time promptly and accurately in AVDG' time reporting system.
  • Other duties as required or assigned by company management as needed.
  • Must be a team player, highly motivated with a positive attitude
