About the Role:

At Connexus, our Member Services Supervisors are responsible for the support, growth, and development of our Member Services Representatives while collaborating with the Branch Manager on how to be an exceptional leader. Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist branch manager in maintaining a highly motivated, well-trained staff and assist employees or members in solving complex account problems.

  • Create and maintain a referral-based environment with MSR employees to help achieve financial objectives.

  • Responsible for ordering all cash for the branch, filling and auditing the CDMs, TCRs and ATM.

  • Work with managers and Learning & Development in identifying and managing all product, system and service training for Member Services employees.

  • Assist in the application and evaluation of policies and procedures for the branch.

  • Assist with ensuring the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.

  • Evaluate the job performance of MSR employees and provide input to Branch Manager regarding performance within the branch to ensure quality of work and service to members.

  • Monitor MSR transactions for accuracy and MSR over/shorts for retaining opportunities.

  • Ensure that employees receive on-going training on security and robbery procedures.

  • Schedule adequate staff for respective location to ensure efficient branch operation.


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a customer service environment, demonstrating the ability to effectively respond to members' needs and prior successful experience in a sales related role is Required.

  • Prior successful sales and service experience Required.

  • Evidence of excellent verbal communication skills along with an outgoing personality that demonstrates a positive, friendly and energetic attitude.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and to be entrusted with the handling of confidential and personal matters.

  • Ability to problem solve and use independent judgment.

  • Strong time management, planning and organizational skills.

  • Proficient keyboarding and 10- key calculator skills, along with the knowledge and ability to efficiently navigate among numerous computer systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player, with willingness to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
