Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Meetings and Events Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a versatile skill set that includes a high level of proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, along with excellent organizational abilities. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales and Marketing team, as well as providing direct assistance to the CEO. This position requires a proactive individual who can seamlessly navigate between administrative tasks, event planning, and hands-on responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Meeting and Event Planning:

  • Coordinate, plan and facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings for the company.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of trade shows, events, and other promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination of logistics and resources for various events.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Sales and Marketing team and the CEO.
  • Perform tasks such as presentation and document preparation, and general administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage the point-of-sale inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, replenishment, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement efficient inventory control processes to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Utilize advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) to create impactful presentations, reports, and other documents.
  • Leverage technological tools to enhance efficiency in project management and administrative tasks.

Hands-On Approach:

  • Take a hands-on approach to problem-solving and project implementation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to proactively identify and address challenges to ensure the smooth execution of tasks.

Passion and Flexibility:

  • Exhibit passion and enthusiasm for the role, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, willing to take on diverse responsibilities to meet the needs of the team and organization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an associate degree in an Administrative Professional program and 3+ years of experience or a bachelor's degree in business administration and 2+ years' experience as a project manager or as a high-level Executive Assistant.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Previous experience in event planning and trade show coordination is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
