Varied/Days (Shifts include 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

• Under the supervision of a Surgeon, the Surgical Technologist First Assistant assists with the intraoperative care of the surgical patient.
• Provides aid in exposure, hemostasis, and other technical skills used to assist the Surgeon to provide optimal results for the patient.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology and Surgical Assisting.
• Must maintain CEUs as defined by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.

Experience:

• Minimum of five years perioperative patient care.

License(s)/Certification(s):

• CPR certification is required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist-First Assist certification required through an accredited program.
