Hawk Ridge Systemsis continuing to expand throughout North America by adding a Junior Salesforce Administrator to our talented and growing IT team! The Junior Salesforce Administrator will play a crucial role in providing end user support and assisting with on-going customizations. We need a candidate with a broad understanding of the Salesforce platform and a drive to continue learning. The Junior Salesforce Administrator must be adept at collaborating with users and have a passion for understanding new business processes and converting them into technological solutions. This position will be responsible for the continuing administration of Salesforce and will give operational assistance to our internal teams. Ideal candidates will have previous Salesforce experience in a customer-centric support role, providing outstanding customer support to end-users.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN THIS JUNIOR SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR ROLE?

  • The Junior Salesforce Administrator will assist the existing Salesforce team with managing and optimizing our Salesforce environment
  • Act as first-tier support for salesforce requests and questions from users within the organization
  • This role will be involved with user management, case queue management and general Salesforce administration such as account setup, field-level modifications, and platform configuration
  • The individual will be motivated, team-oriented, and passionate about Salesforce technology
  • Contribute to the maintenance, configuration, and ongoing development of the platform
  • Assist in managing, prioritizing, escalating, and resolving internal support requests
  • Participate in the development and support of the Salesforce platform and related applications, including custom objects/fields, page layouts/views, workflows/processes, security (users, profiles, roles), data management and other aspects of Salesforce administration
  • Create and manage users, profiles, roles, and permission sets in Salesforce
  • Assist in data import/export/updates and system customization
  • Create reports and dashboards
  • Stay current on new Salesforce features and functionality to ensure compatibility with existing development

    WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS JUNIOR SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR ROLE?

    • 1-3 years of relevant experience with Salesforce in a support type of role providing end-user support, preferably as a Jr. Administrator
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Customer service and/or experience in a customer-facing role with emphasis on internal employee web meetings/training
    • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
    • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
    • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written and communication skills
    • Autonomous, self-driven, detail-oriented, excellent communicator with outstanding time management and interpersonal skills (empathetic, team player, problem solver with excellent conflict management skills)
    • Flexible, adaptable, assertive, and persuasive, as well as the ability to learn quickly, multitask, analyze, and prioritize responsibilities
    • Personable with an excellent work ethic, a "whatever it takes" positive, solution-oriented attitude, and the confidence and drive to deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
    • Availability to work 8:00 am-5:00 pm in the Pacific Time Zone

    Hawk Ridge Systems has determined that the new hire base pay range for this role is between $55,000 and $72,000. Your pay will be based on a number of factors, including knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
