Description

The NOC Manager (Third shift) will be responsible for supervising the 24x7 monitoring of all components of Sinch's network. The NOC monitors the network via the CiNAS network monitoring system and direct access to switches, DACs and other network nodes, technicians are alerted to and act upon any alarm conditions.

Requirements
  • Build strong relationships with operations, customer care, engineering, sales and management, as well as establishing meaningful relationships with key external vendors and clients
  • Manage tickets in the TaSC database; implement standardization for security and log classing
  • Generate reports required for traffic and service analysis
  • Responsible for software upgrades and patches on various nodes in the network
  • Interact with customers, carriers and vendors in resolving trouble tickets and deploying new equipment
  • Coordinate testing for specific offices and projects as needed
  • Foster an environment of knowledge sharing within the NOC and all IQNT personnel.
  • Complete alternate assignments as required
  • Provide training as necessary
  • Meet or exceed company defined KPI's

Education & Experience:

  • 5 years' managerial/supervisory experience
  • Effective leadership skills
  • 5 years' experience with telephony switch maintenance
  • Working knowledge of switches and other telecommunication devices
  • Working knowledge of routers, switches and SIP
  • Highly proficient in MS Software application, Excel, Word and Access
  • Strong Unix skills.
  • Sonus training certificates or similar military or industry experience
  • Experience with switch operational measurement reports

The annual starting salary for this position is between $95,000 - 105,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for bonus.
