Cerner Corporation is currently seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for our on-site health center for a large, local employer in Lemont. This health center has a proactive, educative approach where associates and their dependents are motivated to adopt healthy lifestyles and practices.

As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for treating acute, chronic, and complex disease management and promoting wellness and illness prevention through direct member care for all ages. This includes taking member vitals, inputting member symptoms into an electronic medical record, collecting laboratory specimens and administering immunizations/shots, within the scope of licensure. You will also prepare equipment, members, and physicians for office-based procedures and schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, and diagnostic testing.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

• Licensed (unrestricted) as a Registered Nurse

• At least 2 years of work experience in a Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care or Urgent Care health center setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Basic and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification

• Electronic Medical Record Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Expectations

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, overtime or irregular hours when needed

• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned

• Must reside in or near the Lemont area
