We are looking for a product manager who is passionate about machine learning and AI to lead the development of our servicing platform's predictive intelligence capability. A successful candidate will be able to leverage best practices from both traditional product management and ML model research and development, to define and execute on a product roadmap. You should be equally comfortable discussing the low-level details with machine learning tech teams as with explaining the customer level benefits of these technologies. You are keenly aware that beyond models and data, the technology should ultimately provide exceptional customer experience and deliver business value. You have the ability to demonstrate success with new product development using both quantitative and qualitative measurement methods. You are resourceful, analytical, self-motivating and have great attention to detail.
ResponsibilitiesEstablish and execute on a customer-focused, machine learning strategy to predict real-time customer needs across the servicing journey.
Define and execute on a ML product roadmap focused on evolving predictive intelligence capabilities
Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to develop and execute on a ML strategy for enabling personalized customer experiences
Closely collaborate with technology, design, marketing, and business unit leaders to define and prioritize roadmaps
Lead product development within an agile environment, specifically documenting user stories, acceptance criteria, experience design, and ML model training
Develop and communicate best practices for data and ML-driven customer experiences
A passion for getting your hands dirty by using products as an early adopter, testing prototypes and digging into user research
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience developing customer-facing products powered by machine learning and AI
Knowledge of technical infrastructure needed for training and deploying machine learning products
Ability to understand and evaluate various machine learning strategies to solve customer problems
Ability to understand the complexity costs and tradeoffs with various ML strategies
Ability to understand time boxing of data exploration
Ability to plan and implement a data strategy for collecting, managing and consuming data
Strong execution skills. You should be able to plan and organize a project and lead it towards completion
Ability to work independently with directional guidance from leadership
An ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions, and garner respect from other teams
Experience with agile product management
Experience developing products with a customer-first, design thinking approach
Strong attention to detail, combined with ability to see and explain the big picture
Ability to deal with ambiguity, change, and shifting priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior leadership and tailoring to multiple audiences
Strong business acumen and ability to steer roadmap to measurable outcomes for both customers and the business
Strong analytical skills, ability to solve problems quickly, establish frameworks, ability to assess opportunities with hard data
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 3 years' experience in digital product management
At least 3 years of experience developing digital products using Agile methodology
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years in ML product management
Management of digital products reaching a scaled audience
Knowledgeable about Enterprise Software Development
