Head of Data and Product Innovation - People Analytics
About the People Analytics Group:
People Analytics is an emerging field and Capital One is a leader in this space. Our team brings data-based insights and products to shape talent decisions and strategy at Capital One. We work closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and business leaders in shaping talent policy, we automate real-time data and insights to improve talent decision-making, and empower our Associates through behavioral nudges. The team is comprised of people with diverse skills and backgrounds including data analysts and engineers, product managers, data scientists, consultants and strategists, business analysts, HR specialists, economists, and IO-psychologists. Our team culture is start-up like (fast-moving, innovative) inside a Fortune 100 company.
About the Role:
This is a unique and high profile role that is responsible for developing descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive products that fundamentally transform how HR and business customers access their people-data and how talent conversations happen and talent decisions are made at Capital One. This person will work closely with and advise the CHRO, senior HR leaders, and business leaders across a variety of talent topics such as organizational change, diversity, workforce planning, leadership, performance management, etc. This is an opportunity for a creative and innovative individual with proven experience in and passion for building and implementing great products in an entrepreneurial environment. Core Responsibilities:
Product innovation - lead a team to develop innovative products that have high adoption and drives value for our internal customers
Confidently communicate your strategy across large organizations to influence stakeholders to align behind the objectives
Set a vision and lead, develop, and inspire a cross functional team of 25+ analysts, subject matter experts, designers, technology engineers, and data analysts
Develop and lead the execution of our automation agenda
Work with our tech partners to manage data risk
Leverage data and analysis to solve complex business and talent problems
Influence executive HR and business partners through data-backed storytelling
