Manager, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Strategy & Program Management

The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Strategy & Program Management team is looking for a self-starting associate to play a critical role in support of the company's efforts to continue our track record of outstanding CRA performance. Be the brains behind the scenes to move community development projects and data-related initiatives forward and help us meet our CRA objectives.
This role is a great mix of project management and operational execution. Not only will you use your organizational skills to successfully identify and manage project deliverables, but you will also utilize your keen eye for detail to review and research data and document findings. Your ability to use judgment and make effective decisions will be important to all aspects of this role. In addition, you will engage with team members and collaborate with business partners to clarify information and find effective solutions. This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to support our efforts in telling a very important and compelling Capital One CRA story.

Responsibilities:
Manage special CRA or Community Development (CD) qualification projects, including CD data web-based application/systems enhancements.
Build an effective process for managing project timeframes and deliverables.
Manage the collection, qualification, review and/or documentation of Community Development activities and ensure data and reports are current at all times.
Proactively identify process improvements that will improve CD qualification practices, including opportunities for automation.
Resolve or escalate impediments to help the team deliver on its top priorities.
Stay current on the changing regulatory environment and understand the impacts to CRA, specifically related to CD Qualification criteria and the Public File.
Act as a consultant to business partners by providing advisory services which address CD qualification, CRA performance, and other matters.
Assist in gathering data and preparing for CRA examinations/audits.
Integrate Agile principles into work products.
Travel to various Capital One locations as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of experience in compliance or at least 2 years of experience in audit or at least 2 years of experience in commercial loan documentation or at least 2 years of experience in project management, or a combination
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) field including Community Development data validation experience
2+ years of experience with CRA Wiz or other CD data management systems or web-based applications that support loans, grants, investments or services validation and reporting
2+ years of experience in managing projects, specifically with a tech solutions focus
