What will I be doing?

As the Market Research Consultant, you'll be tasked with gaining and cultivating deep, relevant knowledge about key players in the industries in which we compete. With these market insights, you'll help shape IRI's future by educating our global teams and influencing key strategic decisions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Gain deep knowledge of the market landscape across our technology, data and analytic solutions
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to capture and share how IRI is positioned versus new entrants and mature players in the CPG, Retail, Media, and Technology spaces
  • Research and report on market intelligence - delivering digestible, relevant insights to various teams - focused on our points of parity and points of difference
  • Become a go to resource within IRI to help support innovation, M&A and other key strategic decisions
  • Maintain up-to-date market intelligence collateral to keep the organization informed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in market and competitive intelligence, with CPG experience a plus
  • A proven history of leveraging data to tell compelling stories
  • A hunger for digging and discovering using proven, research-based approaches to understand our markets
