Process Improvement Manager - Client Operations

Job Description Summary

The Process Improvement Manager leads selected complex improvement projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business. The Process Improvement Manager supports major and complex assignments with long-term business impact, manages complex issues within functional areas area of expertise, and contributes to the overall business strategy. The Process Improvement Manager has the responsibility to execute specific initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders across service lines, while enabling exceptional client service and delivering on all aspects of the assigned scope. The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for managing the Client Operations Accelerator Program and will support the larger organization in a matrixed environment.

Job Description

  • Guarantee effective execution of improvement programs by applying Agile, and Lean methods for prioritization and follow through
  • Drive effective execution of routine management including a standard and disciplined ritual to check sustaining KPIs and monitor the processes thus sustaining results
  • Partner with leaders to define and execute business initiatives
  • Provide advice and direction to project teams for step changes and breakthrough levels of improvement in client service delivery, process transformation, and quality
  • Work with key initiative stakeholders to develop project deployment strategy, goals, and priorities across their facilities/ real estate needs
  • Serve as a change agent by stimulating, and institutionalizing business excellence initiatives
  • Mentor and advise team members in the use of continuous improvement methodology
  • Conduct regular project reviews to assure accomplishment of key results
  • Communicate progress, status, and issues to champions and business leaders. Seek, share, and institutionalize best practices
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested

Important Education / Certification

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Commercial Real Estate Experience Highly Preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • Agile and Scrum experience required
  • Agile SAFe experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • 5 years of management experience
  • Commercial real estate experience
  • 7-10 years of combined process improvement and agile background with application in business processes
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in all customer service areas
  • Strong analytical skills; Strong project execution and Project management skills
  • General knowledge of business performance practices (Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Total Quality Management, Balanced Scorecard)
  • Executive-level presentation skills, with demonstrated confidence to challenge executives
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of problem-solving methods (Agile, Lean, PDCA or DMAIC) and decision-making techniques
  • Strong computer skills (Power BI, MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint; Word, Visio, Microsoft Project)
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
