Christopher G. Penrod is the Director for Financial Advisor Talent Acquisition--Military at Edward Jones. He comes to this role following a position as a Senior Project and Program Manager with Wells Fargo Advisors. In 2013, Christopher retired from active duty Air Force concluding a military career that spanned nearly 24 years. During his tenure with the Air Force he served in a myriad of positions that include: Director, Manpower and Personnel for NATO Air Training Command-Afghanistan, Deputy Director, Manpower and Personnel for Joint Task Force-Haiti. Christopher holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology from SIU-Carbondale and a MBA with a concentration in Finance from American Military University.


His awards include: Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, General Robert J. Dixon Innovation Award, 2d Bomb Wing Company Grade Officer of the Year, and Air Mobility Command A1 Headquarters Staff Company Grade Officer of the Year.
