Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) is searching for a full time Immunohematology Reference Laboratory Supervisor to join our team in our Davenport facility. MVRBC is the exclusive provider of blood products and services to 88 hospitals in IA, IL, WI and MO. Our aim is to provide world-class blood products and services to communities in need. To achieve this, we need passionate, talented professionals to join our team.
The Reference Lab Supervisor is responsible for quality assurance, inventory, motivating and coaching of staff, performing antibody testing, antigen typing, and providing consultation to hospital staff.

- Experience in an Immunohematology Reference Lab or hospital transfusion service performing basic and guided complex donor and patient testing, including antibody identification, resolution of compatibility problems and identifying appropriate antigen negative red cells.
- Attention to detail, great communication skills, and a team player.
- Bachelor’s in medical technology, biology, chemistry, or related field.
- MT/MLS certification with ASCP.
- SBB a plus.
- 3-5 years' experience in a hospital blood bank or blood center immunohematology lab.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in laboratory management preferred.
