Job Description
This is a remote position serving the state of New York and surrounding area.  Would work from home office. 

Field Service Representative (OptiFill Group) – ARxIUM provides top of the line, full and partial automation solutions for both direct mail and retail pharmacies. The OptiFill and RIVA service groups provide support and expertise to the customers on our product lines. Service Representative will be primary responsible for providing Level 2 technical support to our customer and our third-party Level 1 support vendors, along with managing and maintaining the relationship with the customers on behalf of ARxIUM. This job will include extensive travel in and around the NY/NJ area along with coverage of several customers in and around the northeastern United States.

OptiFill:
The OptiFill is a best in class solution for mid to high volume pharmacies, It provides automation of the entire pharmacy and their processes. From automated order entry, to pill counting, vial induction and labeling, to filling and the finally to inspection of the product before shipment or dispensation to customers. 
 
RIVA:
Riva provides an industry leading system that allows for automated compounding and dosage of liquid based prescriptions. Riva is a fully automated IV compounding system, reliant heavily on robotic controllers and PLC to provide accurate and sterile dosages of liquid medications for Hospital usage.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Perform 2nd Level software and hardware preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure that all devices sold by ARxIUM are operating and functional whether they are serviced by the original manufacturer or by ARxIUM personnel. 
  • Schedule 1st Level (3rd party) resources, including but not limited to preventative maintenance and service calls.
  • Monitor and support 1st Level (3rd party) resources to complete emergency break fix service calls.
  • Supports the facility IT group with any enhancements or upgrades that may impact the operation of the ARxIUM system by providing information and technical knowledge for a successful implementation.
  • Work with the facility (customer) to schedule appropriate downtime for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Provides a summary of work performed at the frequency and detail required by the facility to document the servicing of the system.
  • Facilitates business to business interactions and takes responsibility for relationship between ARxIUM and the customer facilities.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all paperwork and reports. This includes ticket updates and closures, expenses, timesheets and other administrative requirements.
  • Responsible for following up on open issues, tickets and escalations.
  • Each FSR will be assigned multiple sites, which could include RIVA and OptiFill units.
  • Ability to travel on short notice is required, extensive travel from home will be required. 
  • A normal work week will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Preplanned service calls outside of normal business hours may be required to accommodate user schedules, ex: preventative maintenance may be conducted during the evening. 
  • May be required to be cross trained in both OptiFill and RIVA systems.
  • Must be able to travel by plane both domestic and internationally.
  • Performs other duties as required.
 
Competencies:
  • Allen Bradley PLC Experience
  • Knowledge of the use and troubleshooting of Windows Operating systems.
  • IPv4 Networking Experience, specifically in windows based environments
  • Knowledge of / comfortable in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of competency and experience in troubleshooting detailed electro-mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with the workings of pneumatic systems.
  • Comfortable working in a HIPPA regulated environment.
  • Capable of passing any relevant background checks, both private and governmental.
  • Oracle Database experience a plus, must be at least comfortable with navigating and understanding the structure of databases.
Education and Experience:
  • Diploma or degree in a technical field including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, computer, biomedical.
  • 7+ years of direct field service (or equivalent) experience troubleshooting and repairing computerized electro-mechanical systems.
  • 7+ years of experience working in a service capacity with direct customer interaction.
