Summary of Position:
The Regional Vice-President, Strategic Accounts (RVP-SA) leads the company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationships with selected large, multi-location customers. 
 
Essential Functions:
Reporting the Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, the RVP-SA is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. The RVP SA represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. The RVP SA focuses on the corporate headquarters and key buying locations of assigned accounts, while coordinating closely with field sales associates assigned to these customers’ other locations.
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • In collaboration with product consultants and product line managers, represents the voice of the customer for solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as neededClosely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management
  • Works closely with Customer Care to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

Education and Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution, Master’s degree an asset
  • Minimum 15 years of strategic sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment with extensive expertise in pharmacy technology

 Other Comments:
  •  Position will require travel 50 – 60% of the time, so incumbent must be willing and able to travel without restriction.
