Responsibilities What do our Job Foreman/Technical Installers do? Job Foreman / Technical Installer travels to assigned job sites throughout North America where they execute on-site installations of specialized landscape products. Installations include interior / exterior living green wall systems and interior planting of commercial, retail and hospitality spaces. The person in this role will deliver completed jobs on schedule and within budget. The Job Foreman / Technical Installer will effectively communicate and provide customer service to clients and build relationships to generate repeat business through proven performance. Perform on-site installation of products and services at each assigned project Determine proper tools and equipment to complete the installation. Determine and coordinate safe equipment rental with the Ops Manager. Perform site specific risk assessments and written work instructions specifying the appropriate safe system of work to be followed and any control measures identified from assessment. Self-Operate power tools and hand tools including table saws, circulating saws, grinders, sanders, cordless drills, hammer drills, and concrete drills. Operate equipment including extending forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating boom lifts. Schedule and receive deliveries of products and materials at job sites. Attend all job site construction and safety meetings and disseminate information as appropriate. Report any job delays, field changes or request for change orders to the Ops Mgr / Proj Mgr. Direct and manage any additional installers or subcontractors assigned to you at job sites. Perform regular checks on the work of any person reporting to you to ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with company policy and procedures. Remedy any deficiencies identified in walk through inspections. Provide adequate supervision to all employees so that they work safely and without risk to health. Report any hazardous site conditions or accidents to appropriate personnel. Comply with all Health and Safety responsibilities as specified in the Technical Field Guide. Maintain OSHA compliant 30 hour Health and Safety Certification. Maintain OSHA compliant Training and Certification for Lifts. Maintain OSHA compliant Training and Certification for Ladder Safety and Fall Arrest Maintain OSHA compliant Certified First Aid and CPR Training and Certification. What do you need? High school diploma or GED Bacherlor's Degree or Trade School preferred Installation, construction field experience Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Proficient in written and spoken English and be able to communicate effectively and professionally at all times and in a clear and concise manner. Ability to accurately read and interpret construction documents/plans. Experienced carpentry, structural framing, plumbing, electrical, millwork, and irrigation skills. Able to field modify millwork, wood, stainless and aluminium trim surrounds. Able to work independently Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test Must possess a valid driver's licence and pass motor vehicle record search Qualifications Why Choose Rentokil?
