The Market Sales Director is the most senior sales leader in a market. This individual will be responsible for 300+ sales colleagues and sales/revenue ranging from $380M to $500M. This role will be accountable for delivering residential AND commercial new sales and revenue to the Vice President, Field Sales and the respective Market Vice President. The Market Sales Director provides sales functional leadership, direction, and resource stewardship for their market. They are responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the implementation of national and market-specific sales strategies to achieve business sales targets and resulting planned revenue. Responsibilites include, but are not limited to; Collaborate with Market Vice President to achieve market revenue goals (accountable for field sales element to include residential and commercial sales) Supervise and coordinate regional sales management; responsible for coaching, development, formal performance review cycles In collaboration with business leaders, identify and set quarterly and annual sales goals within the market Determine effective and efficient methods to attain revenue objectives for residential and commercial businesses Manage sales performance within the market and monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify where improvements can be made Establish a high performing team and lead a culture of accountability that ensures delivery of sales objectives, including development and implementation of programs and promotions to motivate sales teams within the market Travel to various field locations and/or other locations for program delivery, project support, and subject-matter expertise What do you need? Bachelor's Degree Master's Degree - preferred Five+ Years of Sales Management Knowledge and skill in sales management strategies and techniques Proven record to work optimally with cross functional teams and to facilitate collaboration across functional boundaries. Knowledge of company products and services Business and financial acumen Project management and leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to operate and influence cross-functionally at all levels Performance management and coaching skills, including providing clear and concise feedback Strong analytical and problem-solving orientation with enthusiasm for digging into and solving cross-functional business, operational and organizational issues Maintains a valid driver's license Skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Must pass pre-employment background screen Qualifications Why Choose Rentokil?
