We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Marketing Specialist with a passion for creating and executing marketing strategies tailored to the unique needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in engaging key accounts, strengthening customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through targeted marketing campaigns.  In this position, the Marketing Specialist will provide support to the Gross Point Beacon family of companies and reports to the senior sales team member for each business unit.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Account-Based Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement account-based marketing strategies that align with the MWC, No Spill, and Rotopax company goals and objectives.
    • Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.
    • Investigate the performance of the Gross Point Beacon family of companies marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics.
    • Create innovative marketing campaigns depending on robust data and present recommendations to management.
    • Create goals and objectives in order to approach customers through appropriate marketing channels.
  • Client Segmentation: Collaborate with sales and product teams to identify high-value customers and accounts and create detailed account profiles.
  • Personalization: Craft personalized marketing content and campaigns for key accounts, ensuring messaging resonates with their specific needs and pain points
  • Multi-Channel Campaigns:  Plan, execute, and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns, incorporating digital, social, email, and offline tactics to reach target accounts and audiences effectively.
    • Discover effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay product messages to customers.
  • Content Development:  Collaborate with content creators to produce industry-specific content that positions our products as essential products for our customers.
  • Work with creative teams to develop branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials, and advertising copies.
  • Data Analysis:  Analyze data and metrics to assess campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize results.
  • Marketing Technology:  Utilize marketing automation and CRM (customer relationship management) tools to track, manage, and nurture key accounts effectively.
  • Collaboration:  Work closely with the sales team and new product development team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives, including lead generation and customer retention.
  • Help in outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in specific areas such as events planning, advertising, optimization, and content development.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or comparable discipline.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Experience with graphic design.
  • Self-starter with excellent work ethic, outstanding judgment, attention to detail, and positive customer service attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Proven experience in creating and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in marketing automation tools and software.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience supporting multiple business units and brands is a plus.  
  • Up to 10% travel required
