Job Description

The Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates with the management team to meet the staffing needs by providing support in various recruitment and selection activities including, but not limited to: creating job advertisements, posting position announcements to various sources, screening applicants, scheduling interviews and coordinating pre-employment assessments. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the TA Specialist will also work directly with branch staff to assist with on-boarding, employee relations and to help with various recruiting, diversity and HR projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume recruiting role, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Ability to partner with and assist employees at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS/ATS systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills to provide structure to a demanding position
  • Proven teamwork skills coupled with the ability to work independently
  • Strong self-motivation skills and desire to continuously learn
  • Ability to travel to various Olympic Steel divisions across the country, 4-6 times annually
