We are seeking a passionate and proven Product Marketing Manager to join our global product marketing team. Reporting to our Director, Product Marketing for Applications, you will own the product marketing strategy for our marketing product line. You are a strong collaborator who enjoys rolling up your sleeves on messaging, positioning, campaigns, and enablement. This role will partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales to support the global go-to-market effort for MessageMedia.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement a cohesive marketing strategy that positions MessageMedia's marketing product set as a leader in the space.
  • Create and maintain a full set of product marketing collateral for MessageMedia, including updated messaging, positioning, competitive intel and personas
  • Develop product content for external and internal audiences, such as website pages, blog posts, one-pagers, sales decks and feature functionality assets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for go-to-market planning, product strategy, marketing campaigns, sales enablement and more
  • Drive net-new user acquisition as well as cross-sell and up-sell within our existing customer base
  • Launch new product features and identify new ways to drive engagement for existing features
  • Advocate for our customers and become an authority on our competition to ensure our products our accurately positioned in the market
  • Measure, analyze and optimize programs to deliver better business outcomes

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product marketing at technology companies
  • Experience marketing and selling to marketers is preferred
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or related degree, MBA a plus
  • Proven success as a lead product marketing manager.
  • Experience in marketing customer engagement platforms or marketing automation technology highly desired
  • Phenomenal collaborator who can bridge the gap between product, marketing and sales team
  • Critical thinker with excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop recommendations based on product, customer, and market data
  • Willingness to learn and demo our products
  • Comfortable working with a distributed team that spans multiple regions and time zones
  • Ability to travel if needed
  • Have a sense of humor
