Communication Skills

We're looking for people who help clear roadblocks to reach our company's objectives.

Major Responsibilities

* Provide 1st line support to customers for Workday queries, working closely with the HRIT team to find resolutions.

* Undertake relevant Workday training courses to gain a good understanding of all the key modules CF utilizes.

* Takes an active role in ensuring that the HRIT function remains compliant from an audit perspective, liaising with CF internal/external auditors.

* Work with the HRIT team to ensure that all processes are fully documented and assist with the creation and maintenance of an internal skills matrix.

* Participate and learn about developing business solutions through the systems life cycle including requirements, testing, configuration, and implementation.

* Learn to capture business needs and support creative solutions. Participate in delivering functional and technical requirements to development teams.

* Run, deliver, and create reports for business stakeholders

* Participates in projects in consultation with IT Security, Infrastructure Team, Business Owners, and Vendors. Support projects through each phase as an active participant.
* Assist in ensuring that all deliverables are completed in accordance with Project Management methodology; contribute to the communication of status.

* Execute testing and perform quality assurance to keep the Business Systems current & reliable

* Learn the operational activities on projects and enhancements, including monitoring resource needs, preparing documentations, status reports, key issues and/or change controls.

* Assist in maintaining the overall health of business Systems at CF through system issue tracking and cross-functional alignment.

Internal Controls

* Establishes and implements processes and procedures to meet departmental internal controls requirements.

* Ensures that established processes/procedures are followed as designed. Works with Internal Controls Department to identify deficiencies in existing processes/procedures, the need for new ones, and the extent to which such processes/procedures are being followed.

* Develops and implements corrective actions with regard to department internal controls as necessary

Incumbent Attributes

* Education: Bachelor's degree (Information Technology/Computer Science) or its equivalent in a related field is typically preferred.

* Years of experience: 0-3 years of related professional work experience may be preferred to complete all essential job functions

* Other unique job-relevant attributes:

- Learning the change process, attending change board as an observer - Participate in learning about systems capabilities and business operations - Business test execution experience

- Good basic oral and written communication skills with organization and time management skills

- Ability to learn, demonstrate and apply knowledge of the business to deliver improvements in solutions and processes and better align IT Service with Business goals
