Status: Part-time, working up to 25 hours/week

Rate of Pay: $14.00/hour

Your Responsibilities:

As a Welcome Desk Attendant, you'll be the friendly face that sets the tone for our center. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  1. Warm Welcome: Greeting guests with a friendly smile and ensuring they feel valued and welcomed as soon as they step through our doors.
  2. Information Hub: Being the go-to resource for answering questions about our facility, programs, and membership options. Your knowledge and passion for our services will inspire others to join our community.
  3. Guided Tours: Taking potential members on engaging tours of our facility, showcasing the amenities and explaining how our center can meet their fitness needs.
  4. Membership Sales: Demonstrating excellent sales skills to encourage guests to become valued members, thus contributing to the growth and success of our center.
  5. Customer Service Excellence: Proving exceptional customer service at all times, handling inquiries with patience and professionalism, and promptly resolving any concerns.
  6. Check-in & Checkout: Ensuring members check in and out efficiently, helping to maintain a smooth flow of foot traffic within the center.
  7. Point of Sale Operations: Efficiently operate the computer, using point-of-sale system to process memberships, program registrations, and merchandise purchases with accuracy.

  8. Maintaining a Tidy Membership Desk: Keep the Membership Desk area organized and clean, creating an inviting atmosphere for all.

What are We Looking For?

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Prior customer service experience is a plus, but we're also open to enthusiastic beginners.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Basic computer proficiency and understanding.
  • Weekend availability is a must.
