Overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of manufacturing bills of material, manufacturing routings, fixtures, tooling, and all associated standards.
Collaborates with manufacturing and engineering departments to ensure manufacturability of designs.
Accountable for bills of material and routing accuracy in the ERP system for both new and existing parts.
Accountable for setting routing standards.
Collaborate with production planning to optimize production sequencing.
Develop templates for manufacturability where needed.
Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods as well as trends and developments in technology and equipment
Identifies and assesses various problems and departures from established manufacturing standards and best practices
Researches and recommends solutions
Implements methods and modifications to reduce production time and costs
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associate’s or college coursework preferred
Minimum five years Industrial Engineering experience
Diverse knowledge requirements include machining, assembly, product structure, manufacturing process development, and technical design.
Experience in manager position including direct supervision.
