Torch and Saw Operator (2nd Shift)

Job Description
Kress is looking for a full time CNC Torch and Saw Operator to join our team operating the cutting machine with oxy-fuel and plasma torches to produce parts as specified by work order & blueprints on second shift.
Operator Job Duties:
Set up CNC burn table for production runs
Verify the machine has the proper computer programs and necessary tools installed
Use a CNC controller to input information into machine
Layout, position, and secure parts according to job requirement
Load and offload machine of scrap and finished parts
Check material for grade, thickness, and size
Read prints and check parts against prints to ensure quality of parts being cut
Based on the appearance and quality of parts being produced, make appropriate adjustments to the processes
Operate powered industrial lift truck (fork truck) to move or manipulate work
Perform periodic preventative maintenance to your assigned machines and notify a supervisor or manager of any problems with your assigned machines
Keep a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Understands all functions on CNC / Burn Table, i.e. plasma cutting tips/nozzle size and speed charts, oxy-fuel cutting tips and gas pressures, kerf and amperage settings
CNC Saw experience
Position will receive an additional 15% second-shift premium.
