Superintendent

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage and supervise commercial roofing crews and commercial roofing jobs.
  • Read and understand field books with various construction job scopes of work, plans and specifications to be able to properly plan out jobs and perform work accordingly within schedules and budgets.
  • Attend and participate in Pre-construction meetings.
  • Establish lines of communication with external and internal customers (GCs, Building Owners, Owners Representatives, Consultants, Project Managers, Accounting, Operations, Field Personnel, Etc.) before, during and after job completion.
  • Promote best practices for commercial roofing work and provide on the job training as needed.
  • Comply with and support company Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure jobs are completed in the most efficient and most cost effective manner.
  • Recruit, train, mentor and retain dependable and knowledgeable workforce.

Requirements:
  • 5+ yrs of commercial roofing experience.
  • Experience in various roofing systems - single ply, bur, modified bitumen, metal, coatings, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Detailed oriented, good communication skills, strong organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to multitask on various tasks in a fast paced work environment.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel and manage job sites.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Starting pay is commensurate with candidates experience and qualifications. Bonus opportunity as well
