Supply Chain Planner
This position will manage forecasting and inventory planning/reporting for assigned areas of the business (customer, product line etc).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management for assigned customers.
  • Manage and report on inventory levels (on-hand and in-transit), forecast trends, excess/aged inventory items and other supply chain related topics.
  • Work closely with Sales Account Manager(s) to ensure accurate sku level forecasts for major customers.
  • Key Communicator with Sales and Customer Operations team members in regards to stock availability and timing across product lines.
  • Develop & communicate useful analysis as part of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Provide critical operational support for specific customers as assigned (forecast, stock allocation, customer specific metrics etc).
  • Develop analytics-based reports and presentations for Sr. Management.
  • Perform supply chain activities related to the annual budget process, as well as quarterly and monthly forecasting process.
  • Work closely with cross-functional team members (Sales, Customer Operations, Marketing etc) on day-to-day issues, and assigned projects, as needed.
  • Manage/Coordinate forecasts & supply planning activities with Omron corporate and factory-based supply chain teams, primarily in Asia. Collaborate with HQ in Japan and peers in Latin America, Europe and Asia.
  • Update ERP system information (item costs, transfer prices etc) on periodic basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Science, or Math
    • Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong understanding of customer and item forecasting and demand planning processes.
  • Familiarity and exposure to full supply chain processes
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with Supply Chain/Forecasting systems.
