Summary: The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the daily running, repair and maintenance of buildings and providing service to the occupants. Consults on a daily basis and receives direction from the Director of Operations for assignments and work requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works with other departments to ensure that all areas of the campus are maintained to the highest level of standards.
Maintains school vehicles and ensures their safety of operation.
Responsible for the handling of all maintenance requests and makes sure that they are handled in a timely and orderly fashion.
Works on a daily basis inspecting the Campus for deficiencies
Work with the setup and teardown of equipment for various events.
Is responsive to all emergency calls, as well as maintaining the on-call system.
Participates in professional growth opportunities.
Coordinates the day-to-day operation and work with the other members of the Operations Department.
Coordinates outsourced vendors.
Qualifications

Minimum of a College Degree Diploma and/or equivalent training and/or experience
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
Experience in an educational setting preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
Practicing Roman Catholic, preferred
