Responsibilities | Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the mission in a Catholic and Lasallian higher education community. Reporting to the Program Director, responsibilities of the Neurological Rehabilitation Foundational Science Faculty member include: -Direction and oversight in planning, implementation, and assessment of the foundational course content in the curriculum -Student advising -Scholarship, and service to the Department, College, University, and community. |
Minimum Qualifications | To be considered, the candidate will have an earned academic doctoral degree from a regionally recognized USDE accredited university (PhD, EdD, DSc, DHS, etc.) and has a contemporary expertise in the area of neurological rehabilitation, acute care, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, or related field. A successful candidate should also hold a physical therapy degree with a current license in good standing eligible for licensure in Illinois. Three years of experience teaching in higher education is desired. A minimum of three (3) years of full-time post-licensure clinical work experience as a physical therapist is preferred. |
Preferred Qualifications | The preferred candidate will possess superior communication, organization, interpersonal, problem solving, and counselling skills. This individual will have an established or emerging scholarly agenda. |
