LSSI is hiring afull-timeYouth Stabilization Specialist. Under the direction of the CCBYS Supervisor, provide crisis and counseling services to youth and their families to promote placement stabilization, while following LSSI policy.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide after-hours crisis intervention services through participation in the assigned on-call rotation.
  • Carry caseload of clients providing individual, family, and group counseling, case management, and evidence based treatment services.
  • Provide on-going assessment and treatment planning for youth on caseloads and linkage of clients to needed services.
  • Complete and submit all necessary reports and documentation accurately and on time.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in the Human Services field is required; Master's degree in the Human Services field is preferred.
  • One year of experience working with youth preferred.
  • Knowledge of evidence based clinical interventions, including crisis intervention, preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • Position requires valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage.
  • A valid IL state driver's license in good standing is required.
