Business Intelligence Analyst, Product Management

Your responsibilities will span from constructing sophisticated financial models and dynamic dashboards to delving into data analytics and managing business intelligence tools and queries. Moreover, your adept communication skills will be pivotal as you translate complex analyses into actionable insights, empowering management to make informed and impactful decisions that drive our business forward.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends and work with Product Managers to develop hypotheses, and perform detail-level research to validate findings
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of product dashboards measuring and monitoring KPIs
• Work closely with the Product and Finance Teams delivering timely revenue and margin trend analysis
• Assist in the development of P&L's and financial models
• Work closely with the Product Management team to ensure that financial data pulled from NetSuite accurately reflects business realities.
• Work closely with department leaders to analyze revenue and expense trends and perform root-cause analysis to optimize financial performance
• Create ad hoc financial models and What-If scenarios to project revenue growth or expense saving projects/ opportunities
• Apply financial analysis to create presentation material for leadership meetings, and department strategy meetings
• Provide guidance and coaching to Product Managers on techniques and best practices for data analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar
• 5+ years of previous work experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven business/financial planning and analysis environment
• Experience in management consulting or investment banking a plus
• Proficiency in extracting and analyzing data from databases using NetSuite Datawarehouse, SQL or other relevant tools
• Strong experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Advanced proficiency in Excel is required (pivot tables, formulas), NetSuite experience is a plus
• Experience utilizing and developing financial models
• Experience building reports and ability to track, analyze, and maintain the accuracy and integrity of large amounts of data using Excel or PowerBI
• Ability to communicate financial information to various audiences including line/ service operations managers as well as senior management
• Comfortable operating with both deep-dive and high-level data sets
• Highly organized, strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Background in a Business Services, Environmental Services, or Industrial Services organization is a preferred, but not required.
