General Responsibilities:

• Structural Technical Lead: Take the lead on local and regional projects, providing expertise and leadership.
• Analysis and Design: Perform structural analysis and create precise design calculations.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough QA/QC reviews to ensure excellence.
• Guidance and Mentorship: Share your technical wisdom with fellow team members.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other V3 disciplines on multifaceted projects.
• Adaptability: Be ready to tackle other duties as needed.

Qualifications That Shine:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. A Master's degree with a structural focus is highly desirable.
• Experience: 8 - 12 years of bridge design, analysis, and load rating experience.
• Project Exposure: Familiarity with clients such as IDOT, Illinois Tollway, Chicago DOT, County DOTs, and local municipalities.
• Standards Savvy: Proficiency in AASHTO, AREMA, IDOT, and ISTHA design standards.
• Software Skills: Strong knowledge of design software, including OpenBridge Designer, MDX, LPile, Midas, and STAAD. Proficiency in MicroStation is essential, and familiarity with OpenBridge Modeler is a plus.
• Licensure: PE license required; SE license or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
