Duties and Responsibilities | Summary: The Director of Law School Technology reports to the Law School Associate Dean for Administration and is responsible for providing leadership and strategic vision in managing the Law School's information technology. The Director ensures that the Law School Computing Services (LSCS) team delivers efficient and effective technical support services to Law School students, staff, and faculty. The Director is a strategic partner with the Law School Dean's Office and collaborates with senior leadership to establish the strategic vision, priorities, and goals. Additionally, the director collaborates with the University ITS team to advocate for the technology needs of the Law School and to promote the implementation of technology best practices. Furthermore, the Director holds a position as a member of the University ITS Extended Leadership Team (ELT). The Director will lead and supervise the Law Technology team that supports approximately 250 staff and faculty and over 950 students. To meet the evolving needs of the Law School, the Director works to ensure that the LSCS team is open and receptive to new information, ideas, and approaches, works to keep abreast of new and evolving technologies, and is adaptable to benefit the needs of the unit.
