Job Description:

Field Project Controls Lead position on a Industrial Plant Modernization project located in Decatur, IL. Per Diem of (USD)143.75/day available if professional currently resides > 50 miles from Decatur. 8 or more years of Primavera experience required and prefer previous construction experience.
Lead level position supporting planning, scheduling, cost analysis, risk assessment, and coordination with client. With minimal supervision, is responsible for independently applying advanced project controls techniques and analyses. The level may handle commercial issues and may provide leadership and guidance to less experienced project control and project personnel. Achieves a high level of forecasting accuracy. Proactive in addressing project issues therefore supporting a successful project outcome. Addresses contractual requirements related to cost control. Leads planning and schedule preparation including startup planning. Addresses contractual requirements related to schedule control. Recognizes critical issues and interfaces. Confers with PM team on project execution matters. Participates in key risk management discussions. Participates in and may lead change management and any potential claims issues. Supervises subcontract administration when assigned.

Education Requirement:
Prefer Master's degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management. Four-year Bachelor's degree with eight or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning and Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with ten years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning and Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.
