Overview

OSF Multi-Specialty Group is seeking Pulmonary and Critical Car e Physician to work in Bloomington, IL. Provide care that is in accordance with the standard of care by specialty. Provides such professional Pulmonology and Critical Care medical services to patients. Adjusts patient care planning and delivery according to job-specific criteria based on patient-specific needs. Maintains the consistency and high quality of all services provided by patients. Recognizes the importance of service and patient experience and promotes empathy and service excellence. Recognizes and utilizes the knowledge and expertise of colleagues to deliver a multidisciplinary approach to care. Maintains full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by physician or other support staff. Demonstrates positive working relationships and demonstrates collaborative team-oriented behaviors with other departments, and other members of the medical staff. Performs necessary procedures as approved by the Medical Staff Privilege list. Provides on-call availability to patients, if applicable. Provides services via telehealth to patients of OSF Entities. Provides services to free clinics upon mutual agreement with Ministry CEO. Assists in the direction and supervision of the daily operation, which may include supervising advanced practice providers, physician assistants, nursing, and advising the Ministry CEO concerning the recruitment, selection, retention, scheduling, and termination of non-physician personnel providing professional, technical, and clerical services. Exercise diligence in assisting Leadership in keeping Facility costs to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients. Understand and demonstrate OSF values and mission.


Qualifications

Minimal requirements: M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent degree; Completed residency in Internal Medicine required; Completed fellowships in Critical Care and Pulmonology required (separate or as combined fellowship). Illinois License to practice medicine is required; Board Certification in Internal Medicine is required. Board Eligibility or Certifications in Critical Care Medicine and in Pulmonology Medicine are required; a Federal Drug Enforcement Agency License and State of Illinois License for prescribing controlled substances are required. Must pass drug and alcohol screening.
