This important job specifically focuses on creating trend-led social content - working alongside social strategists, community managers and a creative director to mine trending hashtags, cultural moments and community responses - and generate content that places the brand into the conversation in relevant, engaging and timely ways.

If you are obsessed with social trends, love making content, and are just as strong conceptually as you are editing and shooting content...then this is a dream job for you!

  • Concept social content ideas - including creating mood boards and storyboards to convey your idea and creative approach

  • Work with a producer to bring your content ideas to life - which could range from re-mixing existing brand assets to shooting low-fi content of product from your phone or capturing content at an event activation

  • Editing your content and applying things like text overlays, emojis, and music

  • Ideating around bigger campaign activations in collaboration with the creative director, partner agencies and the client's in-house creative team

  • Providing ad hoc support around real-time content creation needs as they arise

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience working in social marketing in a Creator role

  • Proven experience making social-first content - especially video - for well-known brands (CPG, fashion and/or accessory brands are a plus)

  • Expert understanding of all major social platforms, their formats and their features - especially TikTok and Instagram

  • Strong video editing skills including expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and CapCut

  • Strong graphic design skills including expertise in Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong photography skills including ability to capture event-based and store-based content

  • Ability to create post copy that is SEO optimized and will grab people's attention in the feeds

What Makes the Successful Candidate:

  • Ability to concept on your own and clearly convey your idea to the team and clients

  • Constant pulse around what's trending culturally on social platforms

  • Love for creating content that will stand out in feeds and feels native to the platform

  • Proactively coming to the team with new ideas and fresh ways to capture content that will drive engagement with the brand and attract new audiences

  • Ability to edit things quickly and adapt to tight timelines in order to capitalize on timely opportunities

  • General understanding of social analytics and what makes content spread across social feeds

  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and process-driven

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly
