ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure. With an emphasis on Citrix, Microsoft 365, Proofpoint, Certificate Management, SFTP, Backup and Recovery, and Azure services, this position requires seasoned expertise to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of all systems while aligning with business operations and technological advancements.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Design and Planning:

-Develop advanced, forward-thinking strategies encompassing all facets of Citrix, Microsoft 365, Proofpoint, Certificate Management, SFTP, Backup Recovery, and Azure services.
-Establish and enforce rigorous standards for operational procedures, network components, and seamless integration with Active Directory.

Implementation and Management:

-Lead the implementation and optimization of Citrix environments, ensuring top-tier performance, scalability, and user satisfaction.
-Spearhead the administration of Microsoft 365 services, meticulously managing Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
-Oversee Proofpoint's email security solutions, guaranteeing effective email filtering, encryption, and threat detection.

Team Leadership and Supervision:

-Direct and mentor support personnel, guiding their efforts in managing and maintaining high-performance, highly available networks.
-Cultivate the professional growth of junior team members, delegating responsibilities effectively and ensuring their work meets exceptional standards.

Technology Research and Assessment:

-Conduct comprehensive research to evaluate cutting-edge network technologies in line with the organization's evolving needs.
-Provide strategic recommendations to senior IT management regarding the adoption of specific infrastructure components and technologies.
-Lead the selection process for critical products, actively participating in tool and vendor evaluations to drive informed decision-making.

-Oversee the comprehensive management of digital certificates organization-wide, overseeing issuance, renewal, and revocation processes.

Application Integration and Standardization:

-Champion the seamless integration of enterprise applications within Azure Active Directory, facilitating single sign-on and authentication functionalities.
-Collaborate closely with application teams to integrate solutions with Azure services, enhancing both functionality and security.

SFTP Configuration and Monitoring:

-Assume responsibility for the configuration and management of SFTP servers, ensuring secure file transfers within the organization.
-Implement robust monitoring mechanisms to track SFTP service performance and availability, swiftly addressing any arising issues.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:

-Develop and execute robust backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical infrastructure components, safeguarding against potential disruptions.
-Conduct rigorous testing and drills to validate data integrity and system recoverability, proactively mitigating risks.

Project Management:

-Drive the definition, prioritization, scheduling, and monitoring of multiple technical infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
-Maintain meticulous project plans and schedules, providing regular updates to senior IT management on project status and milestones.

WHAT YOU BRING TO SIRVA (Qualifications, Skills, Education or Certification Requirements, etc.)

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
-Minimum of Eight years of progressively responsible experience in managing complex IT infrastructures within enterprise environments.
-Minimum of Seven years extensive hands-on experience in supporting and optimizing Windows Server environments, including deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
-Minimum of Five years of experience with a proven track record of effectively mentoring and developing junior technical personnel.
-Extensive experience in designing, configuring, and managing Citrix virtualization solutions, with a deep understanding of advanced features and functionalities. Proficient in optimizing performance, -scalability, and user experience.
-Demonstrated proficiency in administering and fine-tuning Proofpoint's email security suite, encompassing comprehensive email filtering, robust encryption protocols, and proactive threat detection mechanisms.
-Proven track record in managing the full spectrum of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
-Advanced understanding of certificate management processes, encompassing the seamless issuance, renewal, and revocation of digital certificates across the organizational landscape.
-Proficient in configuring, optimizing, and managing SFTP servers to facilitate secure file transfer operations within the organization.
-Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices, with a focus on proactively mitigating risks and safeguarding critical infrastructure assets.
-Extensive experience in leveraging scripting languages such as PowerShell to automate routine tasks and streamline infrastructure management processes.
-Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail, capable of identifying and resolving complex technical issues promptly and effectively.
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-Proven track record in leading and managing infrastructure projects, including those spanning remote locations.
