Locana, recently acquired by TRC, is looking for aGIS Cloud Architectto support our ArcGIS Enterprise implementations in cloud hosted environments such as Azure and AWS. Candidates will have the opportunity to join a team of motivated consultants configuring, integrating, and deploying ArcGIS Enterprise in the cloud for a variety of clients.

The GIS Cloud Architect will possess excellent problem-solving abilities, thorough knowledge of the infrastructure development life cycle, and the ability to join development teams; have experience maintaining client communications; and will be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a collaborative team environment. Candidates will also participate in technical sales, marketing, and business development activities in support of growing our cloud services and system integration practices.

Immediate projectopportunityworking remotely from a home office with potential for future travel to client sites up to 25%.

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing ArcGIS Enterprise deployments (ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Pro)
• 5+ years of experience deploying solutions within cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
• Strong understanding of cloud-native services, microservices, and containerization such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
• Ability to translate business requirements to a proposed technical solution
• Ability to execute all phases of the custom solution delivery process (design/build/test/release/support)
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex system issues
• Willingness to stay current on and explore emerging technologies to help provide Locana's clients with innovative solutions and practices
• Experience creating and delivering technical software documentation/artifacts needed to support approval ofcustom solutions
• Experience leading junior resources in technical and logistical aspects of project work
• Cloud certifications are a plus
