Salary:


FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your areas of resonsibility:

The Materials Manager reports to our Sr Director of Supply Chain Planning. This critical role provides analytical insight and support to the business in supply continuity of purchased materials, including components for internal manufacturing and re-sale. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead and support a team of four direct reports in planning of materials that align with KPIs; Range Of Coverage, Performance to Schedule, On-time In-full, etc.
  • Purchase order management: life cycle activities including placing, follow up, matching, correction/reconciling, etc
  • Inventory management: includes reviewing data for trends in usage and leadtime to make appropriate changes to plan-ning/stocking and support investigation/disposition of slow moving & expired mateirals.
  • Develop and facilitate improvements that align with operational excellence, opportunities to reduce cost and increase revenue

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Supply Chain, Engineering, or Accounting preferred.
  • 3 years of supply chain experience in a distribution or manufacturing facility.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data, and making decisions in a business environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with a high degree of problem solving skills.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite +PowerBi; intermediate to advanced skill in excel.
  • Teamwork, collaboration, self-motivation essential.
  • 2 years of SAP experience preferred; with knowledge of inventory and planning processes.
