Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Claims Officer, the Auto Claims Adjusting Services Vice President is an executive leadership position responsible for enterprise leadership of adjusting services and claims operations for property, casualty, and auto policies. Also, you will effectively manage daily relationships with important partners to guide customer focused solutions and ensure exceptional performance.

Primary Accountabilities

  • You will lead the execution of an enterprise claim adjusting strategy.
  • You will execute enterprise claims adjusting standards.
  • Ensure process coordination across all claims office locations and scope areas.
  • Monitor and hold leaders accountable for claims key performance indicators.
  • Lead the department in implementing profit solutions while interacting with other areas across the enterprise, including sales, product management, marketing and actuarial.
  • Ensure consistent communication mechanisms are in place between claims offices and product strategy area.
  • Monitor metrics, people and processes to ensure claims training curriculum meets our needs for seamless claims adjusting service and operations.
  • Ensures the claims adjusting organization is compliant with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
  • Extensive experience leading and improving enterprise-wide strategic programs and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Interact effectively with others by reaching level of agreement with diverse parties and manage conflict that occurs in a heterogeneous group.
  • You will effectively interact effectively with employees in all levels of management in identifying and resolving complex issues.
  • You will listen and explore nontraditional approaches to problem solving by taking action after assessing alternative courses based on logical assumptions and factual data.
  • Must have solid knowledge and understanding of the claims practices and standards.
  • You will also utilize organizational and industry knowledge to identify problems and opportunities.

Travel Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel for Catastrophe duty if necessary.
  • This position requires travel up to 40% of the time.

In this primarily office-based role, you will be expected to spend at least 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from our National Headquarters, (NHQ).
