Job Description: MRI Tech/Technologist

We are searching for a skilled and dependable MRI technologist to join our medical team. The MRI technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment and creating scans as per the physicians' directions, screening patients and explaining procedures to them, and inspecting and troubleshooting equipment. You should be able to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and also train junior MRI technologists.

To be successful as an MRI technologist, you should have sound knowledge of human anatomy and MRI safety procedures. Outstanding MRI technologists will be highly analytical and able to explain complex information clearly.

Requirements:
  • 2 YRS Acute Care EXP REQ. If candidate has Client experience, the manager is fine with 1.5 years of MRI experience...
  • In-patient, Outpatient, and Emergency room patients.
  • Must be able to perform Full spectrum of MRI Studies...
  • No Cardiac MRI performed on site...
  • BLS, ARRT (pref) or ARMRIT who sat for The ARRT as well as an ARRT(R)(MR)...
  • Specific Equipment: Client preferred...
  • EPIC Charting...
  • NJ license required prior to START...
  • First time travelers accepted..
  • Black scrubs...
Schedule Notes:13 week assignment: Mon-Fri 9a-5:30p + call (1, 8.5hour/week and 1, 24hour every 5 weekends) ... *call during the week would be 10p-7a (after hours)...
