Job Description

As a Senior Marketing Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our marketing operations. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing technology, data analysis, and campaign execution, as well as the ability to provide strategic guidance to the marketing team. You will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment within our marketing department.

This role will help develop, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns across the Digital Velocity team at CDW and work under the direction of the Go To Market Strategy and Operations Manager. There's a few things you just GET:

Key areas of responsibility

  • Support a broad strategy and go to market team to launch and optimize campaigns with global partners (Apple, Cisco, Google, just to name a few...)
  • Producing sales campaign proposals, partner presentation materials, and follow-up emails
  • Maintain and elevate our use of Hubspot including marketing contact management, property organization, workflow monitoring, naming conventions, and campaign management/reporting.- Work with manager to design email layouts, copy, personalization, and brand compliance
  • Lead the management and optimization of our marketing technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and other relevant tools.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance our marketing capabilities and ROI.
  • Analyze complex marketing data to uncover actionable insights and trends.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights to improve marketing campaigns and overall performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to develop comprehensive marketing strategies and plans.
  • Oversee the planning, setup, and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
  • Continuously optimize marketing workflows and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement best practices and automation where applicable to streamline operations.
  • Ensure the highest quality standards for marketing materials, including emails, landing pages, and advertisements.
  • Ensure marketing practices adhere to legal and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Foster collaboration and communication within the marketing team and with other departments.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise.

Education and/or Skill-Set qualifications

  • 3-5 years relevant experience required in Marketing, Advertising or Communications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or related field

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Experience working on lead generation in an organization using marketing automation tools, ideally HubSpot, to support sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Experience executing on virtual events including webinars, customer demand generation events, and tradeshows
  • Proficiency in marketing technology platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and advanced data analysis tools.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with project management tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing compliance and data privacy regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Marketing certifications (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) are highly desirable.
